The Beta Tau Chapter has won the following awards:

Only six chapters out of 165 Delta Zeta chapters are recognized with the following awards:

 

Crest Award:
This award is presented to outstanding collegiate chapters that have excelled consistently in all areas of college programming.

 

Chapter Programming Award:                               
This award is presented to six collegiate chapters that have excelled consistently in all areas of college programming (programs, academics, activities, financial, new member education, sorority education, etc.). Beta Tau received a certificate for the top 12.

 

Academic Award:                                                                             
This award is presented to the six collegiate chapters with the highest accumulative GPA over the past 2 years.

 

 Recruitment Award:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      This award is presented to college chapters who show overall excellence in their recruitment planning and execution.

 

 New Member Education:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      This award is presented to college chapters that show excellence in their new member education program.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Only one chapter in the nation is given the following awards:

 

Council Award:
This award is presented to the top chapter that has continually showed excellence over the past 6 years.  After a chapter has won this award, they are not eligible again for another 6 years, but retain the title until that time.

 

Genevieve Schmitt Memorial Plaque:
This award is given to the college chapter with the highest academic rating. This traveling award may be won by a chapter three times in succession and then retained in the chapter permanently. Beta Tau has retired 4 plaques (which means we have had the highest GPA for 24 consecutive years.)

 

Quota Award:
Beta Tau was presented a silver tray for successfully making quota for the past 38 years.

 

1902 Loyalty Award:                                                                                                                                                         
This award is presented to the collegiate chapter that has the greatest percentage of members who support the 1902 loyalty fund. Beta Tau received a certificate for 4th place.
